Rhyme

Hailing from Australia, RHYME, embodies a 22nd century type of muse is a poet, singer/songwriter, music producer, performer and DJ. Discovered in Japan as the muse of RHYME SO, with legendary act 'Shinichi Osawa' She has been picked up by 88Rising and gone onto working with acts such as Sophie Ellis-Bextor, MILK, Mari Natsuki, KAZUO, Jean Castel, IPON and opening stages for likes of Boys Noize and Yellow Claw.

Through poetry and sound she masterfully collides the newness of our ever-changing world with the echoes of the genres that have marked both cities and decades on their own such as Rock & Roll, Spoken Word, Electronic, Electro/Techno/Hardstyle, Hip Hop, and Experimental.

RHYME plays the saxophone (alto and Soprano), the Japanese koto and the piano, programming and producing her compositions on Ableton. She is an avid winter sports performer known for figure ice-skating which she has continued into her music.

Based between Paris and Tokyo she performs in sophisticated fresh art-focused audiovisual creations, blending her take on Japanese culture and poetry with her unique musical genre and storytelling abilities in both english, Japanese and French.
