Corelia

Corelia was a progressive metalcore/djent band based out of San Diego, CA. The band was founded by guitarist Chris Dower and drummer Clayton Pratt. Bassist Adrian Alperstein was added to the lineup a few months after the band's original formation, and in early 2010 the band completed their lineup with vocalist Ryan Devlin and guitarist Ryan Borrell. Throughout this process of finding band members, the band released several demos online which initiated the growth of their fanbase. In September of 2011, the band put out their debut release titled 'Nostalgia'.

The band became controversial after raising over $30,000 USD through crowdfunding for their next full-length, but the band disappeared without a trace shortly after. In 2020, a person claiming to be an ex-member of the band claimed he/she would release the entire album without permission from other band members, however, this turned out to be a hoax, but it caused the band to break the silence after 5 years, and announcing the release of their full-length digitally for everyone who contributed to the crowdfund.
