Singe is an idea that came to light in 1999. Frontman and lead vocalist Andrew Qureshi found himself alone, traveling to the Pacific state from North Carolina in search of a place to indulge creativity, to define himself as a musician. Shortly after he arrived, a close friend and fellow music enthusiast in Sacramento,CA, Shawn Carrano, introduced him to guitarist Rich Joslin, whose creativity unleashed another dimension in the music. Soon, fate brought the two in touch with Myke Paolieri, who develops the low end and brings the emotions of the compositions to another level. The final piece to the puzzle was adding the ultimate drummer/percussionist, Shane Castleberry, whose artistic ability shines through in his original drumming techniques.

Together, this band has proved that by pressing forward and testing the limits you can accomplish anything. They have committed themselves to working diligently so that they may progress as musicians and individuals...to bring the music to the world...to realize their dream.
