The First Fire

The First Fire is a German modern metalcore / nu metal band based in Berlin. The project originally began as a solo venture by vocalist, songwriter, and producer Nils Nitschke, before evolving into a full-fledged four-piece live band.

The band's music seamlessly blends the nostalgia and rawness of early 2000s nu metal and post-hardcore with the heavy energy and polished production of modern metalcore. Alongside their heavy, groove-driven original tracks, the group gained massive online popularity—generating millions of views on TikTok and Instagram—thanks to their viral metalcore covers of pop classics (including Backstreet Boys' "Everybody").

Lyrically, the band focuses heavily on themes of mental health, inner conflict, and socio-political issues.
