Keratoma is:

Two of the five guys (Chris and Thomas) were in a band called Slutbox. Once Slutbox was over Chris and Thomas went to form a new band called Keratoma. Keratoma is a five-piece metal/industrial band from Cleveland Ohio. Keratoma has played with such bands as Mushroomhead, Strapping Young Lad, Dope, The Genitorturers, and Lamb of God. Keratoma released there first CD titled "Smoke And Mirrors" in February 2005. The 69 minute album has 16 tracks including a hidden track which makes it (So there is 17 all together). The hidden track is a cover song of Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson. This album gives the middle finger to what is considered metal today. Much like how Slutbox lyrics where like (sex, violence, drugs) This album consists of songs about loss, disgust, mass murder, and betrayal .

The album was recorded by Keratoma, during free reign of Mushroomhead’s “Filthy Hands” studio, and was mastered by the brain of that band, Steve "Skinny" Felton. (From Mushroomhead) Most of the music is fast and very gritty, sparked with rage, and powered by the desire to piss in the mainstream.

Keratoma is working on a new CD to follow up the 2005 release of "Smoke and Mirrors". It is rumored they have 17 songs ready and written for the new CD and that they will be working even more to write more songs for the album. So far there is no information of how many tracks will be on the CD. The new CD is titled "Anathema" and will be released in 2007.
