There are at least two artists / bands using the name Protectorate:

1) Protectorate is an American metalcore band. They released their first EP ''Lost Love'' In 2011.

2) Protectorate is a Finnish electro-industrial project formed by Kalle Lindberg. He is also known as the singer of The Republic of Desire.
