Farrcry was a Hard rock band from Florida.

Members on releases in 1992 & 1994: Craig Martin - guitars Eli Facuseh - drums/percussion Ira Saltzman - keyboards Mark Christian - vocals Randy LaPierre - bass.

Original bass player on a 6 song demo in 1989 - Wayne DeMario Second drummer on 2 songs recorded in 1995 - KC aka "KC the Drummer" aka Craig Quinn Kasin.

So here is the story up 'till now... In 1987 there was a band called "the Ward" where Craig Martin and Eli Facuseh (founding members) were playing with Wayne De Mario and another Guitarist-writing and recording. At the same time Mark Christian was heading down to the Keys after playing with a number of Tampa cover bands (namely "Lefty" with Kenny McGee-Kenny later fronted "Julliet") The invite of a special friend to live in the Keys or stay there for short time or definitely having a lay over became a diversion to staying in Miami. He then started working at a telemarketing firm where he found Eli. Long hair met long hair and the core writing team of Craig and Mark were brought together. While trying to develop a sound-heavy with guitars or heavy with keyboards, Ira Saltzman was called when Craig found a keyboard player add placed by him. Ira had just finished his Business/Music degree from U of M. The look and the sound was there and the 5th and almost final member of Farrcry was complete-for a while. Then began work on demo tapes in Miami and laying the groundwork of gaining a following-gigging! A little while later the band decided to change bass player Wayne-in stepped Randy LaPierre. Randy was a player in the Ft. Lauderdale cover band "Dirty Movie". After a brief meeting, picking up a demo tape that had everything a band needs to make it happen and one audition, the lineup was complete. Three weeks later, May 8th 1990, they performed a show at City Limits in Ft. Lauderdale (Just happened to be captured on video) and Farrcry were on their way! While performing countless gigs in the south Florida area that included many legendary local establishments as Summers on the Beach, the Plus 5, Weekends, Rosebuds, winning the 1991 band of the year at the Button South's Battle of the Bands, and traveling on a tour that took them throughout the southeastern U.S. and writing enough material to do a full length album, the five man writing team began the search for "the Studio" and "Producer" to record what would become Farrcry's first release. After a cameo appearance in the Huey Lewis video "A Couple of Days Off" we got to know the owners of the studio where the shoot took place-Quad Radial in N. Miami. After recording one song we moved onto Gled Studios. We met up with Gary Stryder ( Stryder Records) and recorded a 2 song demo. Still looking for that album quality sound we moved onto Audio Vision with producer Paul Trust and that was it. His production/engineering ingenuity was just what the band needed to make the right noises happen. The first true quality recording that was made was titled Mr. Red, White, Blue (1992) Then came getting signed to Granat records, live shows that included opening for such well known names as Paul Rogers (Bad Company, Queen) & Niel Schon (Journey, Hardline), Winger, Firehouse, Saigon Kick, Enuff z'Nuff, Babylon A.D., Trixter and many more. TV and Radio airplay was the next step in making a band as successful as one could. Initially taking a leap of faith, on the last day of a two week trip to Puerto Rico, singer Mark finally met with the right people to get 20 plays of the song, "I'll Be The One", on La Mega Radio station-the deal went something like, "If you like the song keep playing it, if not, well, you never met me..." The song went on to number 2 on their weekly request countdown, second only to Whitney Houston's pop iconic version of "I Will always Love You". Later we were invited to the island to do some concerts, P.R. work and we were also guest performers on the Marcono Show-a Leno/David Letterman type of night variety show for the Island-2 million viewers at a time. Management was originally handled by Darlene Delano at Long Distance Entertainment. With the success of Mr. Red White Blue, alignment came to a new record deal with Neon Records along with the audio expertise of new producer John Forbes, engineers Waren Croyle and Bob Tucker in L.A. California. Then came the release of the album Can't Bargain With God (1994) along with three music videos produced by Karry Sukolski. The song Loving You was played on "The Box Music Network"(USA) and Mr. Red White Blue was shown on MTV Europe. There would be more a number of shows and one more three song recording session with new drummer KC Kasin and Waren Croyle behind the board. As life happenstances, shifts in responsibilities, fate & evolution of music would have it, in 1995 Farrcry split up.

What started out as a fun nostalgic Myspace page that our friend Paul coaxed us into, has evolved into a gathering of a lot of Farrcry vhs taped shows, fans/friends contacting us & wanting more and working on the legal end of things...
