Team.ねこかん[猫]

Team.Nekokan[Neko] (Team.ねこかん[猫]), is an independent J-rock band known for their songs based on video-game themes. The name Nekokan contains a reference to the Rockman (Megaman) series E-Can item; additionally, many songs from the band are based on their experiences with the Rockman game series--mostly focusing on the suffering while trying to pass certain levels.

Team Nekokan (Team.ねこかん[猫]), literally “canned cat,” is a independent J-rock band known for their video game-themed tracks. The “[猫]” in their name represents their namesake; the brackets being an “E-can,” or energy can, borrowed from the video game series Rockman (known as Megaman internationally), while the symbol 猫 (neko) means “cat”.

The band’s experiences with the Rockman series serves as the basis for most of their songs, usually describing their suffering when trying to pass certain levels.
