Scott Fo-Shaw

Scott Fo-Shaw is a young up and coming DJ and producer based in Skipton (near Leeds), North Yorkshire. In a very short space of time, Scott has gone from being unknown to having his tracks and remixes charted and played by the likes of The Tidy Boys, Paul Maddox, Carl Nicholson, Andy Farley, Paul Janes, Jp & Jukesy, GRH and Sam Townend. This support from top DJs and producers has ensured Scott’s firm reputation as one of the top up and coming Hard Dance artists in the world.

His style would be described as hard funk and hard house and it's widely accepted that this fresh faced 17 year-old will soon be a big name in dance music. After working with and engineering for: Sam Townend, Digital Kid, DJ GRH, Morgan, Deano and various other DJs and producers, Scott is well on his way to achieving his goals and has more experience than most for someone of his age. At this young age, he has already had one of his tracks reach number 1 in the Tidy Digital chart. He is also running a digital label (Presence Recordings) with some of the best established and up and coming DJs/Producers on the Hard Dance circuit including, Carl Nicholson, Adrenaline Dept, Audio Hedz, Iridium and Jody 6.

Scott himself is an extremely determined young man, and his list of his influences include Tidy, Paul Maddox, Switch, Massive Attack, BK, Untidy and Ingo . For someone so young, Scott's flawless mixing and spot-on productions are second-to-none he receives great feedback on all his demo mixes and CDs. Recently, his tracks have been featured on various compilations such as: Tidy’s Weekender 11 CD and The Hard House Designer Labels compilation album which showcases the best tracks from some of the scene’s biggest and well known labels (Tidy, Vicious Circle and Riot!), this has helped him gain more exposure and helped him maintain and improve upon his already large and varied fan base.

By the age of 16 Scott had already played his first under age gig, secured his first residency for Blessed and been signed to one of the UK’s top up and coming DJ agencies (Breed Management), alongside DJs such as: JP & Jukesy, Car Nicholson, GRH and many other up and coming DJs. He has already achieved more than many could dream of in the music industry and he will definitely go on to be a big name within the dance music scene.

Now at the age of 17 he has left Breed Management, had a headline article written about him on www.harderfaster.net, had tracks signed to the legendary Tidy and secured a residency for V14gra in Leeds and already played for large events and promotions such as Storm, Nu:Religion, XStatic, and Deprivation with bookings coming up for the likes of Frantic, Raindance, Oh My God and Puzzle Project.

He has played alongside DJs such as: Amber D, Paul Janes, Lab 4, Kernzy & Klemenza, JP & Jukesy, Cally Gage, Lee Pasch, Mark H, Audio Hedz, Chris Shaw, Iridium and Neil C.
