Formed in 2016 in Hanau, Lycania has been honing their craft, making symphonic metal, which blends the old-school 90s sound with more modern and diverse influences. Their debut album 'My Kingdom Come' was released in 2023 and was well-received by critics and fans alike.

In 2025, after a lineup change that saw the addition of bassist Jan Schöngarth, Lycania are back with three-song EP, 'Lunar Lore', mixed by Mattias Sippola (Atavistia), mastered by Jack Kosto (Seven Spires), and featuring such guests as Snowy Shaw (ex-Therion, ex-King Diamond, etc.), Philippa Sztencel (Lost Dawning) and more!
