Arð is a doom metal project created by Mark Deeks (Winterfylleth). Lyrics explore the history and folklore of the region of Northumbria throughout history.
The debut album "Take Up My Bones" (2022) focussed on the story of St Cuthbert, and the 2024 follow-up "Untouched By Fire" was about the life and death of King Oswald.
