Pÿlon

Doom à la Saint Vitus and early Black Sabbath from Switzerland

First chapter was written with Natural Songbirth released in 2004.

In 2006 they made a split with Painwork called Days of Sorrow.

Pÿlon have released their 2nd album, Th' Eternal Wedding Band, on Quam Libet Records in September 2006. It contains twelve tracks and the music video for 2046.

Despite the seeming abundance of singing, whispering, growling and chanting voices, no less than four tracks on the album are instrumentals or lyric-less at the least. Th' Eternal Wedding Band was a little bit of an underground hit in doom circles and is distributed by mailorders around the world.

In 2009 the 3rd album, simply called Doom, was gifted to mankind.

The line-up consists of Matt Brand on guitar & vocals, Tinu Christen on drums & vocals and Jan Thomas on bass & vocals.

2011 saw the release of 4th album Armoury of God.
