Disposal Unit

Disposal Unit are an industrial / sludge metal outfit out of Ohio, USA. Blending harsh textures, droning layers, power‑electronics noise, and moments of sludge heaviness, their sound is abrasive but also evocative — sometimes murky and oppressive, sometimes bleakly immersive. They draw from industrial metal’s mechanical aggression, sludge’s weight and atmosphere, and power electronics’ abrasive intensity. Their music is rarely gentle, often unrelenting, with a focus more on mood, texture, feedback and distortion than on clean vocals or conventional song structures.
