2. Treebeard formed in the fall of 2010. Based out of Columbia, Missouri, the post-hardcore quintet bring life to a dead scene. Ambient guitars and soaring melodies accompanied by shrill high screams reminiscent of a time when heavy music wasn't just about the breakdown.

"this is incredibly good. its like circa survive fucked artsy math rock's twinkly kinsella-esque sound and had a baby and it was the second vocalist who resembles craig owens on a good day/way and they always hung out with there brother toru okada and circle takes the square. perfect, really"
