Bio: Abstract Reason is a Progressive Metal band based in Yverdon-les-Bains (VD) in Switzerland. Emerged in 2008 from the ashes of "Alive Or Just Breathing", Abstract Reason decided to orientate it's music in a more extreme and technical genre. A 3 songs demo recorded and mastered by Johann Meyer allows the band to play a lot of shows in Switzerland and also outside their home country. After a line-up change in 2011, the band has at present 6 members : Roman (guitar), Julien (guitar), Gilles (guitar), Florian (bass), Mladen (drums) and Dany (vocals). Now with a new vocalist, a third guitarist and putting it's music to a higher level, Abstract Reason is now again ready to go on stage. With influences like Animals As Leaders, Born Of Osiris or Veil Of Maya, the band will release his debut 3 songs EP on the 19th of May 2012 (again recorded and mastered by Johann Meyer).
