Handheld

Handheld is the name of two bands. One is a punk band and the other is a chiptunes artist. The former is a punk band from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Their influences include: Bad Religion, Belvedere, Bodyjar, Craig's brother, Descendents, Face To Face, Green Day, Screeching Weasel and Strung Out.

The latter is one of the psuedonyms of Matthew Kuebrich, a chiptunes/idm recording artist and producer. Under the name Handheld, Kuebrich created wildly rhythmic, densely layered tracks rich in the 8-bit retro tones of the nintendo entertainment system.
