There are at least two bands with the name Cambrian 1) Is an Italian doom metal band. 2) A Dutch progressive metal band.

For the second, Cambrian emerging in 2013 from Eindhoven, Netherlands, they blend metal into a genre-defying sound. With sprawling, emotionally diverse tracks regularly hitting the 9-minute mark, Cambrian show themselves as true upholders of the Progressive Metal genre. With two albums under their belt, Point of Origin and Oceans Away. With these releases Cambrian has proven that they excel at connecting small and intimate piano or guitar-led sections to expansive metal segments complete with harsh vocals and double bass pedal drums and the use of a wind controller.
